Commercial Waste in Hampton

Hampton is located on the North bank of the River Thames in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Made up of three communities known as Hampton, Hampton Wick and Hampton Hill, the area is home to a variety of local businesses. 

Hampton Hill has a beautiful High Street filled with cafés, boutiques, butchers and bakeries, as well as a theatre. Many services such as hairdressers, dentists, salons, nurseries and mechanics have also made Hampton their home. 

As well as the vast array of shops, Hampton has a range of pubs, restaurants, delis and takeaways to ensure its inhabitants never go hungry! There are also several sports and leisure activities available, including gyms and the open-air heated swimming pool, accessible all year round. 

The Hampton Water Treatment Plant, built in the 1850s, is one of the largest capacity water treatment facilities in Europe, producing a third of London’s daily water supply. A group of 17 offices and warehouse units belonging to the plant are located in the South-West of the town.
